National African-American Insurance Association to host 2011 National Conference in Miami, FL. September 28-30
Marsh to co-host national gathering of insurance professionals
The National African-American Insurance Association (NAAIA) will host its 2011 National Conference September 28-30 at the Fairmount Turnberry Resort in Miami, Florida.
Themed “Diversity-A Roadmap to New Opportunities”, the event brings together insurance industry professionals from various roles and disciplines to participate in roundtable discussion forums, continuing education workshops, networking, and an awards ceremony honoring those who have made significant contributions to this industry.
The 2011 National Conference will be co-hosted by Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor.
“The 2011 National Conference will champion the use of teamwork as a key to success for African Americans presented with (insurance) industry challenges and opportunities,” said Don Davis, National Chairman of NAAIA. “The diversity of talent and perspective embodied by the NAAIA membership and supporters will further emphasize the value of collaboration.”
Consistent with the goals of NAAIA, the conference will enhance and support career development for attendees representing leadership and staff from insurance agency/broker organizations, insurance companies, and industry related service affiliates.
“The conference is going to be exciting,” said Mr. Davis. “This year marks our 13th annual national conference which continues to build upon the strengths of NAAIA and its talented members.”
